PeerTube is a decentralized video platform on the Fediverse. Each instance hosts its own videos, but all instances can communicate. No advertising, no recommendation algorithm. Streaming uses P2P to reduce server load. Developed by Framasoft, a French nonprofit. The audience is small compared to YouTube, but the tech and open source community is active.
